BenQ Joybook Lite U101 Launched

The BenQ Joybook Lite U101 netbook which was announced in September is now available in Taiwan.


The netbook has got a 16:9 display with a 1024 x 576 resolution which is rare for a netbook. Other than that, the specs for the Joybook Lite U101 is pretty standard: an Atom N270 CPU, Intel 945GSE chipset, 1GB of DDR2 memory (512MB for Linux versions), a range of hard drive options including 80-160GB mechanical drives, as well as 4-16GB SSD options.

Colors available for this netbook will be blue, black, white, and pink. No words on when it will be available in other countries, but for now, you can get it in Taiwan for €398 ($503).
