Upcoming Pink Netbook: Toshiba Mini NB200

Toshiba UK recently announced a new model 10-inch netbook, called Mini NB200. The same model was released earlier in Japan with a different name -- Dynabook UX.

According to the press release, the Toshiba Mini NB200 will be available in shades of brown, black, white and pink. Also, it offers "a new ultra thin platform with a striking new design, with a unique textured cover to appeal to the most style-conscious of consumers". Currently there's no picture of this netbook in pink, but by just looking at the brown version, we can imagine how pretty the pink one will be.

  • 160GB hard-drive
  • Up to 9 hours battery life

  • USB 2.0 ports x 3

While the Toshiba Mini NB200 is expected to be released in the UK in May 2009 for $465, Portable Monkey who's based in Japan has a chance to pick up the Dynabook UX and written a short 'first impression' on this machine. So far they are satisfied with it, and are especially impressed with the build quality and design of this netbook. This looks like a nice machine and we hope the pink version will be available soon!
