LG has announced a new range of laptops called the Widebook which is designed to cater for home entertainment needs. The laptop comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2GB or 4GB of RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce graphics chip with up to 1GB of DDR2 video memory. This provides the laptop enough power for high definition movies and games. Depending on which model you go for, the screen-size will be 13.3-inch (R380), 14-inch (R480/R460) and 15.6-inch (R580/R560).
The good news is, LG does not forget to include pink for the ladies. The Widebook R380 which is designed for the youth market is available in white, black and pink schemes. Other models will be available in either Shiny White or Crystal Black.
LG is planning to roll out the Widebook range laptop across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. by the end of this month. No words on the price yet.
